We are growing and are looking for talented team members to join us! The Lead Engineer - Tooling will supervise sustaining, creation, and development of major processes, manufacturing lines, or manufacturing cells in order to lead industry in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Administer and coordinate tooling engineering policies, practices and programs designed to increase plant productivity and reduce costs through improved production methods and optimum utilization of equipment, manpower and materials. Manage a team in order to accomplish these tasks and responsibilities.

This position is open to a location of Gwinner, West Fargo, or Bismarck, ND. This position has the option of being a hybrid remote role. Onsite at one of the indicated locations is required 3 days per week.

The level of this position will depend on experience.

Skills

The qualified candidate will have:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field with >7 years relevant experience and >4 years managing people.
* Experience leading and developing engineering teams in the development of a single product, product function and/or product improvement/optimization effort.
* Clear understanding of the product development and validation processes and customer needs achieved through experience with one or more of the company's products, dealers, and customers.
* Ability to build strong relationships with other functions of the organizations.
* Ability to develop and mentor engineers at various levels in their careers.
* Creative and visionary approach to projects with ability to influence innovation across multiple organizations and levels through technical aptitude and understanding of team's strengths.
* Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity, and providing creative solutions and influencing multi-discipline teams with data, scientific reasoning, and strong coaching skills.
* Basic project management methodologies and tools experience.
* < 10% travel if located in Gwinner. If not located in Gwinner, travel is dependent on location.

Notes

This role has the option of being hybrid remote working situation. 3 days per week on-site are required.
