Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will work with a team of approximately 15 staff members at The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in Rocky Mount, NC. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will under minimal supervision, be responsible for providing troubleshooting, repair and operational support. The Supervisor will oversee activities of all Maintenance team members on his/her shift and will provide technical support and leadership as needed. This person will ensure proper maintenance and operational status of equipment associated with the TCFB plant and act as the tactical daily oversight between management and the Maintenance team members, including standing in to maintain and support Maintenance activities when management is unavailable or away for a bakery with more than 550 staff members that create delicious cheesecakes and memorable experiences.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

Delegate work and maintenance responsibility to maintenance technicians.
Complete daily shift transition.
Log and tracking repairs in the Maintenance Work Order System.
Conduct preventive maintenance of all department equipment.
Ensure maintenance of all department equipment and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on all department equipment and utility equipment.
Research parts needed for work/repairs and properly utilize the Parts Inventory and Work Order systems.
Cover areas of the plant as assigned by the Manager.
Complete project work as needed or required.

What we require:

Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field with solid skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics preferably in food production. Skill with PLC’s needed
Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.
Must be able to work a 8-10 hours for 3rd shift starting at 10:00pm.
Must have basic computer skills for tracking, sorting and entry into the Departments CMMS system and assorted spreadsheets (Excel and Access).
Available to work overtime (end of shift and weekends).
Teamwork oriented with good communication skills.
Comfortable delegating responsibility, assisting in training and providing overall technical support to Team Members.
Ability to lift 10-50 pounds on a periodic basis.
Other conditions include ingredients dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes from cleaning chemicals (ammonia).
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to stoop to reach material and will also require bending, twisting, torqueing, kneeling, etc.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, and climb for extended period.
Ability to work in cold or hot conditions.
Ability to stand for at least an 8-12 hour shift.
