Job Description

Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) is seeking skilled and highly motivated Engineers to join our dynamic team of professionals in environmental consulting. Engineering positions include the following:

Engineering Director - Transmission and Distribution, Salary Range: $182,500 - $219,500
Electrical Engineer – Transmission and Distribution, Salary Range: $117,500 - $152,500
Gas Pipeline Engineer – Transmission and Distribution, Salary Range: $117,500 - $152,500
Licensed Land Surveyor, Salary Range: $143,000 - $152,500
Project Manager/Engineer - Water Resources, Salary Range: $133,000 - $160,000
Engineering Technician III, Salary Range: $97,500 - $107,500
Engineering Technician I, Salary Range: $58,000 - $67,500

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with a specific focus on the design, analysis, and implementation of transmission and distribution projects, and/or working with senior engineers, project managers, and other staff at Merjent to prepare, oversee, or support preparation of plans/specifications, CAD drawings, and development of design documentation for projects and tasks as assigned for gas and electric transmission, wind, solar, and other energy facilities.

Skills

The Engineering Director - Transmission and Distribution, Electrical Engineer – Transmission and Distribution, Gas Pipeline Engineer – Transmission and Distribution, and Project Manager/Engineer - Water Resources positions require:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Varying levels of progressive experience in gas engineering, with a significant focus on linear pipeline and natural gas projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
Previous experience or training with CAD software and GIS (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcMap).

The Engineering Technician positions require an associate degree in engineering or related field, with CAD experience.

The Licensed Land Surveyor position requires:

Current Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, with eligibility to become licensed in additional states as required.
Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in land surveying.
Previous experience or training with CAD software and GIS (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcMap).
