This is a US-based position that is eligible for remote work. Candidates must be open to periodic travel to headquarters located in Johnston, RI, dependent on business needs. Must be willing to work EST hours. (This role may require work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs, including weekends.) 


The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, integrating, and managing complex systems, including building and running Infrastructure & Cloud Services, focused on producing high-quality solutions and improving existing technology systems through orchestration and automation. Focus on enhancing existing processes and developing and implementing solutions through various technology disciplines.  

As a hands-on team member, effectively partner with assigned team members throughout the Infrastructure and Cloud Product Service Organization including software engineers, chapter leads, service and product owners and other multidisciplinary staff based on shared goals and practices.  

  • Support, implement, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, ISE, ASA, and F5 infrastructure to support organizational requirements.  
  • Configure and manage VLANs, ACLs, routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP), VPNs, and other network technologies.  
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.  
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, access control, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.  
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and applications.  
  • Perform regular backups, updates, and patches to ensure the security and stability of the network infrastructure.  
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.  
  • Provide technical support and assistance to IT teams and end-users as needed.  
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure delivery of support contracts.  
  • Improve the reliability of high-scale systems implementing automation to improve the process, the environment, and the technology stack.  
  • Leverage automation where possible to ease/eliminate manual tasks.  
  • Transition products and features to the service organization by using automation wherever possible, including updating records systems and creating\updating wikis.  
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation  

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network administration, application support, infrastructure support, database, server administration, information technology, platform services, or another related discipline.  

Experience with cisco routers, switches, ISE, ASA and F5 required 

Must have experience with scripting and automation.  

Technical Skills  

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.  
  • Experience with designing and implementing network security measures, including VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.  
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, and F5 BIG-IP platforms.  Apply Now
