Estimating Engineer

Job Description

Basic Functions:
Prepare technical bids for heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Major Duties:
1. Basic design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
2. Prepare material requirements for each component designed.
3. Estimate labor hours to fabricate the component/vessel/exchanger.
4. Write technical proposal for submittal to customer.

Skills

1. Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
2. Exceptional communication skills, including technical writing.
3. Must be consistent in thought processes and work methodology
