Job Description

Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance workforce capabilities within our suspension division. This role will play a key part in driving efficiency and process improvement to ensure top-tier manufacturing performance.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to develop a high-performing workforce. Your expertise will directly impact quality, productivity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and refine manufacturing processes for suspension components—including shocks, coilovers, leaf springs, and control arms—to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
• Develop and implement standardized work procedures, process documentation, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing operations.
• Design and implement new production tooling while continuously improving existing tools to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and quality assurance teams to align training initiatives with operational goals and industry standards.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and waste reduction.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to support production targets and streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards by integrating best practices into training modules.
• Act as a technical liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and leadership teams to align process improvements with workforce development initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production issues to ensure continuous improvement and long-term resolution.
• Support new product introductions (NPIs) by evaluating manufacturability and coordinating with design and production teams for smooth implementation.
• Use data analytics and KPIs to identify trends, measure the impact of improvements, and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades or automation opportunities to increase throughput, reduce manual labor, and improve overall line efficiency.

Requirements:
Industrial Engineering Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and industrial engineering principles.

Process Improvement Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other optimization techniques.

Technical Skills:

SolidWorks proficiency for process and tooling design.

Manual machining (lathe and mill) experience is a plus.

Experience with Dozuki or similar digital training software.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong capability to analyze process inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with teams at all levels.

Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects and training initiatives while maintaining high attention to detail.

Self-Motivated & Proactive: Passionate about workforce development, process optimization, and driving innovation in manufacturing.
