Primary Talent Partners is supporting an Engineering Firm client of ours in Fort Lauderdale, FL who is actively looking for a Licensed Senior Structural Engineer to join their team.

Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our growing, dynamic, and collaborative structural team. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, self-motivated professional who excels in a collective environment and will play an integral role in delivering high-quality designs for major projects across the United States. A strong technical background, including specialized expertise, and proactive problem-solving skills to meet both client and project needs, are highly valued. Clients include architects, developers, institutions, government agencies, and construction managers. We offer a flexible hybrid work model to support work-life balance.   

Primary Responsibilities:
Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, largely involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood building systems. 
Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications. 
Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions. 
Acting as liaison to Clients and Project Managers. 
Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments.  

Skills

Knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:
4+ years of experience in relevant commercial building design 
Good structural engineering fundamentals (statics, structural dynamics, finite element theory) and basic knowledge of various building codes (ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7, NDS, etc.) 
Bachelor in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, Master a plus. 
Professional Engineering License 
Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.
Software/Tools: AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, SAP2000, and ETABS
