Transportation Bridge Engineer

Job Description

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Bridge Engineer to their St. Augustine team!

Responsibilities:  

* Assist Transportation Bridge Department with structural design
* Design responsibilities for a variety of projects including Bridge, Retaining Wall, Roadway, Drainage, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure Improvement projects
* Assist with business development including proposal/project approach writing
* Perform civil engineering services for municipal, county/state clients
* Prepare engineering plans/specifications using State DOT Standards
* Process Federal Aid Phase I and II projects for a variety of clients
* Assist project engineers/managers as needed

Requirements:

* B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
* 5+ years of relevant job experience working on municipal/highway agency transportation projects
* PE License  
* Ability to travel throughout service area with own transportation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
