Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. Job duties include but are not limited to:

* Perform distribution design and provide transmission project support, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clients
* Distribution design typically includes physical design, electrical design, and materials
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalities

Required Education/Experience
- ----------------------------

* Civil engineering degree (BSCE) from an ABET accredited university
* Must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
* Knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering concepts upon which to build
* Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process
* Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Desired Education/Experience
- ---------------------------

* Internship or co-op experience with utility or industrial facility
* Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

Salary DOE: Pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
