### Must have:

### - At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience. - At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems. - Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer who will play a critical role in our AWS Elastic Load Balancing/EC2 Networking team. You will be responsible for delivering a distributed Network Function Virtualization (NFV) platform, which includes data plane systems supporting customer-facing services such as NAT Gateway, Elastic File System, Load Balancers, and AWS service endpoints. You will collaborate with a balanced team of senior and junior engineers to deliver important features that enhance customer experience. Your contributions will encompass setting team culture, establishing best practices, and mentoring others, all while executing our product roadmap. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, have a strong customer-centric mindset, and possess the ability to think big.
