### - Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI - Public Trust/Other Required: None - Job Family: Data Science - Skills: Data Analysis, Data Governance, Enterprise Data - Certifications: None - Experience: 8+ years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field. - Environment Specific Experience: At least 5 years of specialized experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Apache Spark, Databricks, Palantir Foundry, AIP, Immuta, Collibra, Microsoft PowerBI/PowerApps, Docker, Kubernetes, or GitHub/GitLab. - Certification: At least one of the following: SAFe Practice Consultant, SAFe Practice Consultant Trainer, Advanced SPC, SAFe Architect, or SAFe DevOps Practitioner; Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.

Responsibilities:

As the Enterprise Data Engineer, I will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support Combatant Command (CCMD) processes across various Joint Directorates (JDIRs). My key responsibilities will include: - Defining and maintaining the product vision, roadmap, and backlog to align with business objectives. - Designing and implementing data architectures that satisfy CCMD requirements, including data warehousing and data lakes. - Developing an enterprise-wide data model to ensure data consistency, reduce redundancies, and improve data integrity. - Maintaining data integration processes for seamless data flow across systems. - Designing and implementing solutions for data storage, including relational and NoSQL databases. - Ensuring data security and compliance through encryption and access controls while managing data across multiple classification levels. - Developing continuous data quality processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity. - Optimizing data systems for scalability and performance to support business growth. - Collaborating with cross-functional JDIR teams to understand business processes and data requirements for delivering effective data products.
