As a Geospatial Systems Engineer, I will deliver simple solutions to complex problems, tailoring cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. I will work within a highly functional team, testing and deploying custom solutions to the client's hardware baselines while maintaining legacy and new versions of the systems and their sub-systems. My specific duties will include: - Planning and performing engineering research, design development, and other assignments to meet design, engineering, and customer specifications. - Managing major technical/engineering projects of high complexity and importance. - Interacting with system users to translate their requirements into hardware and software requirements and design. - Assessing and managing systems-level requirements and developing operational systems concepts. - Coordinating software/hardware integration and deployment with end-users. - Reviewing architecture designs and plans, providing actionable feedback to stakeholders and team members. - Contributing to the planning and requirements phases of the development life cycle. - Ensuring designs comply with specifications and solving engineering problems in the assigned functional area. - Recommending changes to improve established application processes and providing technical support for systems engineering inquiries. - Producing white papers and briefings as needed.

To succeed in this role, I require the following: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience. - A strong understanding of systems architectures and system design, as well as experience with SQL, Postgres, and NoSQL data stores. - A proven ability to creatively solve technical problems and work collaboratively within a small team. - Familiarity with leading GeoSpatial software products such as Remote View, Geo-Catalog, ArcPro, and others. - Prior experience within the NGA, Intelligence Community, or Department of Defense. - TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is mandatory. Desired skills include experience with virtualized environments and storage platforms, as well as holding a current US Passport.
