****Field Service Engineer - South West of UK****
****What is the Position?****
Due to the retirement of one of our experienced field service engineers, a position is now available for a dedicated and conscientious candidate to join our team as a ****Field service engineer**** .
The role will require the candidate to provide field service support for software and device installation, device repair and calibration for a range of diagnostic medical systems throughout the South West area.
A successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively within the **South West of UK** region, and possible other areas of the country as demands dictate. Overnight stay close to customer sites would be required at certain times.
This position is for **40 Hours per week** . With the ability to work **flexible hours** and to adapt to changing work schedules, occasional overnight stays required.

****Skills Required****
* Good general IT knowledge and knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
* Previous field service experience desirable but not essential.
* Experience within Healthcare/Medical sector desirable but not essential.
* Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
* Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
* Full clean drivers' licence
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
* Comfortable lifting large loads as may be required to handle some heavy service equipment from time to time.
****Job Responsibilities****
* Provide professional onsite support for customers for Natus diagnostic and screening products.
* Provide front line support including installation, configuration, and fault finding / rectification on Natus software platforms.
* Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration tasks.
* Good time management skills to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
* Promote Natus service products i.e., service contracts.
* Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
* Produce timely and detailed service reports.
* Follow all company's QMS procedures and protocols.
* Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
* Understand customer requirements effectively and make appropriate recommendations.
* Build positive relationships with customers.
* Work with counterparts in UK sales to coordinate and prioritise customer support activity.
* Travel in the UK \& IE if required.
