DevOps Engineer (Junior and Mid)

**Who We're Looking For (Position Overview:**

We are seeking DevOps Engineers at both junior and mid levels to play a key role in the development, operations, and lifecycle management of mission-critical applications. This position requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and a commitment to system performance, security, and reliability.

**What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):**

* Design, build, and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** for efficient software delivery.
* Implement and support **Infrastructure as Code (IAC)** using tools such as **Terraform** , **Ansible** , or **CloudFormation**.
* Integrate and operate within **cloud environments (AWS, Azure)** including services like **OpenSearch** , **EKS** , and **Azure AD**.
* Automate system configuration, security scanning, and deployment workflows.
* Use **DevOps toolchains**: Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, Nexus, SonarQube, Artifactory, and HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul, Boundary).
* Monitor and maintain system performance and security using tools like **CloudWatch** , **Splunk**, and third-party monitoring platforms.
* Configure and manage services to support **auto-scaling** , **resilience** , and **failover capabilities**.
* Create and maintain **machine images** (e.g., AMIs, AVMs) and automate DevOps tasks across multiple secure environments.
* Respond to and resolve system issues and user tickets, including critical incident support outside normal hours.
* Contribute to the engineering and enhancement of cross-domain solutions for file transfer and system interoperability.

**What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):**

* **Active TS/SCI clearance**
* 5 years of experience required for Mid-Level.
* 1 year of experience required for Junior-Level.
* Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Terraform.
* Java, JavaScript, JFROG
* Experience with **cloud platforms**: AWS and/or Azure.
* Strong scripting skills: **Python** , **Bash** , **PowerShell**.
* Familiarity with configuration management tools: **Ansible** , **Chef** , or **Puppet**.
* Ability to monitor and manage **application health**, security, and performance.
* Experience with **infrastructure automation** , **CI/CD** , and **container orchestration**.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices.
* Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
* Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation and SOPs.

**Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):**

* Experience working in **secure environments** or government systems.
* Familiarity with **Cross Domain Systems**, network segmentation, and enclave management.
* Exposure to full **application development lifecycles**, especially in secure or classified settings.
* Experience with **COTS integration** into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
