### We seek candidates with a technical degree, an Associate's or Bachelor's in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Alternatively, candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, ideally in system or application administration. Certification requirements include a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) CE, (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC). Additionally, certifications in Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) Defense Cyberspace Workforce Certification are necessary. An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

In this role, I will provide user desktop support, including managing hardware, network connectivity, and basic computer functions. I will maintain a directory of domain names and its translation to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, install, configure, and manage network services, equipment, and devices. Additionally, I will support the network and computing infrastructure and maintain DNS MX records for all domains using Microsoft O365 Cloud email services. I'm tasked with documenting network problems and resolutions for future reference, monitoring system performance, and assisting in performance tuning. I must demonstrate a solid understanding of networking essentials and provide support for network security through patching, maintenance, and necessary upgrades. I will prepare and schedule computer setups, repairs, configuration changes, and provide solutions to day-to-day DNS issues via various support channels. I will assist the IS team in achieving performance metrics, maintain records for hardware and software use, and continuously improve current processes. Strategic development for timely equipment delivery, cost reduction, and performance improvements will also be part of my responsibilities. I must possess good working knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, commonly used business software such as MS Office, and stay current on operating systems.
