Automation Cloud Engineer

Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) to automate cloud infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management.
* Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM.
* Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps to automate application deployment and testing.
* Implement security and compliance automation solutions to ensure cloud resources are configured and managed in accordance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
* Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure real-time visibility into cloud resource performance, security, and compliance.
* Collaborate with cloud engineering team to identify automation opportunities, share knowledge, and implement best practices.
* Troubleshoot automation issues and provide support to cloud engineering team to ensure smooth operation of cloud infrastructure.
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools to continuously improve automation solutions.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, cloud computing, and DevOps
* Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM
* Experience with one of cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills

**Nice to Have:**

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
* Certifications in cloud computing, automation, or DevOps
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
* Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
