Process Engineer

Job Description

Hardwood Solutions, Inc. is an industrial processor of hardwood lumber and is seeking a Process Engineer.   Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the candidate will conduct and coordinate various quality measures, train and monitor staff on knowledge of customer specifications, and manage various production processes directly related to quality and productivity.

Skills

A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a solid understanding of statistics, data analysis and mathematics. Experience in lumber, forestry, etc. is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and intermediate computer skills. This will be a “hands on” position on the plant floor, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. Candidates will be trained to perform all tasks.
