**About the Role:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R\&D Engineer to join our dynamic Research \& Development team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in mechanical or chemical engineering and experience in experimental testing, product development, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll play a key role in advancing product innovations and supporting strategic technical initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead and execute testing activities to support product development goals.
* Design and manage test plans, timelines, and experimental approaches.
* Analyze data and collaborate with senior R\&D members to evaluate results and feasibility.
* Participate in project reviews and present technical findings to internal stakeholders.
* Stay current with advancements in automotive and fuels technology, as well as market trends.
* Promote and adhere to safety procedures in all laboratory and work activities.
* Ensure documentation meets ISO and quality system standards.
* Support intellectual property activities such as patent filings and competitive reviews.
* Represent the organization at technical conferences and industry events.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a research and development environment.
* Proven ability to analyze technical data and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a related technical field.
* 2--5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
