### **Senior Network Engineer**

A dynamic organization is seeking a **Senior Network Engineer** to lead the operational management of **network infrastructure, security protocols, and unified communication systems** . This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of enterprise connectivity, focusing on **designing, maintaining, and optimizing network services** while mentoring junior IT staff.

### **Responsibilities:**

* Act as a **technical expert and escalation point** for all network-related concerns, ensuring smooth operations across wired and wireless environments.
* Lead **continuous improvement initiatives**, refining network services and security protocols to align with evolving technology standards.
* Oversee **firewall and voice system maintenance**, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance benchmarks.
* Guide and mentor IT personnel, fostering a culture of **innovation and knowledge-sharing** within the team.
* Execute **capacity planning and performance analysis**, leveraging network management tools to identify trends and proactively address potential challenges.

### **Qualifications:**

* **Education:** Associates degree in a technology field or equivalent experience. **Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification** preferred.
* **Experience:**

* **8+ years** in network engineering, primarily working with **Cisco-based solutions**.

* **4+ years** managing **VoIP environments**.
* **Technical Proficiency:**

* Expertise in **network routing, switching, and cloud integrations (Azure, BGP, Arista)**.

* Strong understanding of **firewall configurations (Palo Alto, Meraki) and unified communications platforms (Cisco Unified Communications, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime)**.

* Knowledge of **network automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell)**.
