Job Description

Job Role: AI Engineer
Location: Norfolk, Virginia, United States

Security Clearance: Active National Security Clearance (Secret level or above)

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop AI-driven software systems with high scalability, performance, and security
Implement and optimize machine learning models for real-world applications
Build and manage secure data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Develop and integrate APIs and system interfaces for AI solutions
Deploy AI applications using cloud platforms and containerization tools
Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and data protection standards
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
Create and maintain technical documentation and system architecture designs
Continuously improve AI systems using modern engineering practices

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of experience in software development and AI/ML implementation
Strong programming expertise in Python, C++, or Java
Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with AWS or Azure
Strong knowledge of data processing, databases, and scalable systems
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Expertise in API development and system integration
Understanding of secure software development and handling sensitive data
Strong communication and documentation skills
