Company Description TradeForm is the world's fastest-growing AI-native hardware procurement platform, built to run sourcing, supplier coordination, and end-to-end buying for companies building the physical world. In just four months, we've raised a substantial round from several of the world's largest funds and gone live with a growing roster of 10+ enterprise customers across hardware, robotics, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role in San Francisco. You'll work directly with the founding team as an early engineering hire, building the 0-to-1 product that powers procurement for the world's most advanced hardware companies. You'll operate as a hybrid of full-stack software engineer and forward deployed engineer, embedding directly with our largest customers: traveling to their facilities, sitting with their procurement and supply chain teams, and turning what you learn on the ground into shipped code the same week. You'll own systems end-to-end across frontend, backend, AI/ML infrastructure, and ERP integrations, and help shape how we build as we scale. Early equity, deep ownership, and a front-row seat to how the world's most advanced supply chains actually run.
Qualifications
2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping 0 to 1 products, ideally in AI, agents, LLM applications, or enterprise SaaS
Strong full-stack skills across TypeScript, React, Python, and modern backend frameworks (Next.js, FastAPI, Postgres, or similar)
Working knowledge of modern AI/ML systems, including LLM orchestration, RAG, agents, evals, and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, or similar)
Experience translating messy customer workflows into clean abstractions and shipped software
Comfort owning systems end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infra, and making sharp tradeoff calls without a heavy process
Willingness and excitement to travel to customer sites regularly
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write tight technical specs and explain tradeoffs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Bias toward shipping, owning outcomes end-to-end, and iterating with customers in the loop
Prior exposure to procurement, supply chain, ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), or manufacturing workflows is a strong plus
