Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to support the development of service operations across North and Central America.

This is a technical support & service development role (not a pure field service role) with:
~80% on-site work (office, service lab, technical support)
~20% travel (demo testing, troubleshooting, technical meetings)
You will play a key role in dealer support, training, and building a structured service ecosystem in the US, while also supporting the sales team from a technical perspective.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dealer & Distributor Technical Support

Provide technical support to dealers and distributors
Troubleshoot field issues and guide resolution
Develop dealer service capabilities and standards

2. Training & Service Development

Deliver structured technical training programs
Develop SOPs, service manuals, and documentation
Help build a scalable service system in the US market

3. Hands-on Technical Work (Lab & Office)

Perform diagnostics, testing, and validation in service lab
Demonstrate installation, operation, and maintenance procedures
Support commissioning and system validation

4. Spare Parts & Service Operations

Define spare parts structure and service kits
Support spare parts planning and availability
Optimize service readiness and response

5. Demo Testing & Technical Sales Support

Participate in customer demo tests with the sales team
Validate product performance in real applications
Provide technical expertise in customer discussions

6. OEM & Engineering Collaboration

Engage with OEM customers on technical requirements
Support specification development and project discussions
Act as a bridge between customers and internal R&D

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Electronic Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience

Minimum 3+ years in:
Technical service OR
Technical support (industrial/electrical systems)

Preferred Industry Experience:
Lithium batteries / energy storage
Material handling equipment (forklifts, warehouse systems)
Cleaning equipment / industrial machinery
Other B2B technical equipment industries

Key Skills

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
Hands-on experience in:
Installation
Diagnostics
Commissioning
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Experience working with dealers/distributors (preferred)
Ability to engage with OEM engineering teams

Additional Requirements

English (Required)
Spanish (Preferred)
Willingness to travel (~20%)
