We’re partnering with a fast growing, engineering led startup building AI powered systems to modernize a complex legacy industry that has historically relied on manual workflows and outdated tooling. In under a year, the company has reached approximately $10M ARR, is already profitable, and is on track to scale to ~$50M ARR in 2026. Their platform is already trusted by top tier startups and technical teams across AI, infrastructure, and developer tooling, helping streamline high stakes and operationally complex processes.

The product sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and real world impact, using LLMs and agentic systems to replace hours or weeks of manual work with intelligent, scalable software. This is a rare opportunity to join early at a company with strong product market fit, real revenue, and meaningful mission driven outcomes.

We are looking for candidates open to working 3-4 days/week in San Francisco or New York City offices for local collaboration given our stage!

Job Details

We’re hiring Senior or Staff Software Engineers, Backend or Full Stack, to help design, build, and scale the core systems powering this platform. These are highly cross functional roles where you’ll work across product, infrastructure, and AI driven systems to solve complex, real world problems.

What You’ll Work On
Building agentic systems that automate complex, multi step workflows end to end
Designing scalable backend systems, APIs, and event driven architectures
Developing AI powered features using LLMs in production environments
Improving system performance, reliability, and data models as the product scales
Building clean, intuitive user facing and internal tools
Designing integrations with external platforms and services
Evolving system architecture to support rapid growth and increasing complexity
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience building and shipping production systems
Strong backend fundamentals, Python preferred for backend focused engineers
Full stack experience across modern web frameworks is a plus and flexible on stack
Experience with distributed systems, async processing, or event driven architectures
Interest or experience in building AI native or LLM powered products
Strong product instincts and attention to detail
High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments
