We are working hand-in-hand with the following client to help find a **Senior Software Engineer** for their **Core Services, Site Reliability Engineering** team.

Their an industry leader in AdTech and have now bridge the gap with their MarTech solution to offer a seamless integration for brands and advertisers. The client is constantly pushing with some of the most progressive work in machine learning meets cutting-edge user experience. Dealing with high complexities and scalability challenges, their platform does 465 billion automated optimizations per second.
The **Core Services Site Reliability Engineering (Core Services SRE)** team sets the foundations and maintains the principles of reliable engineering across our client's core service teams. Core service teams power platform software backend, where all data processing occurs. The Core Services SRE team ensures robust and reliable software by building and operating self-healing systems that automatically deploy and manage the scaling of core services software, while championing and evangelizing the principles of reliable software and Site Reliability Engineering across the organization.

**What you'll be doing:**
* Maintain tooling, libraries, and infrastructure leveraged by all core service teams
* Develop and maintain infrastructure services that enable engineers to manage, deploy, and scale systems
* Act as a technical leader, guiding core service teams to design robust and reliable software
* Propose, design, coordinate, and implement cross-cutting initiatives impacting all of core services, both as an individual contributor and as a technical leader
* Propose, design, document, and communicate evolving SRE best practices to keep StackAdapt's core service backend maintainable
* Conduct security reviews for new projects, technologies, and services

### We'll be reaching out to applicants that have:

*

* At least 5 years experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Backend engineering

* At least 5 years experience with AWS, or other Cloud provider

* Strong programming, system design, and scripting skills

* Deep understanding of infrastructure as a code and application/network security

* Experience setting up complex AWS environments with Terraform

* Database management experience is a plus

* Experience with our existing technologies is a strong plus: Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, Boundary, Consul, Waypoint, Redis, Aerospike, Go, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RDS, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Envoy, Nginx
