Staff / Senior Software Engineer – Electron & Enterprise Desktop Infrastructure

AI Infrastructure for Mechanical Engineering | Series A | San Francisco

We’re hiring Software Engineers to join a $32M Eric Schmidt-backed startup building Claude Code platform for mechanical engineering which connects directly into CAD, CAE, and PLM systems — allowing engineers to automate complex workflows through AI agents.

The company is already working with customers including Tesla, BMW, Meta, and Amazon, with 1,000+ production workflows already running on the platform.

You’ll own the desktop platform, enterprise deployment infrastructure, and runtime systems that every integration and AI agent depends on.

You’ll work on:
Electron desktop application architecture
Enterprise Windows deployment systems
Plugin/runtime infrastructure for AI agents
Update, rollback, and reliability systems
COM interoperability and native integrations
Enterprise IT compatibility across secure environments

What We’re Looking For:
Strong Electron experience
Strong C# experience
Experience shipping production desktop applications

Nice to Have:
Experience with COM or native Windows tooling
MSI / enterprise deployment experience
Plugin or extension architecture experience
Exposure to CAD, PLM, or engineering software
Experience working in enterprise IT environments

This Role Is:
100% onsite — downtown San Francisco
Up to $230K base + strong equity
