**OVERVIEW**

At Orion, we are seeking a Microsoft Active Directory Engineer with deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for a healthcare enterprise. This opportunity focuses on the design, implementation, security, and management of a large-scale enterprise AD environment. You will primarily work on a development project called Voyager wherein you will be responsible for all SSO configuration efforts (design/build/test/implementation), but on occasion, will also work on SSO configuration efforts for operational projects.

**OPPORTUNITY**

6-month Contract-to-Hire; Fully Remote (*U.S. -- Central Time Zone*)

**SALARY**

$100,000 -- $115,000 W2 plus benefits

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Design, implement, and manage a large-scale enterprise Active Directory environment

* Provision and deprovision users, computers, and security groups

* Manage Active Directory FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and AD Sites and Services Design

* Administer Entra ID, ADFS, DNS, and PKI

* Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), account management, and auditing

* Develop scripts for automation and routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages

* Coordinate with application owners to reset passwords and manage service accounts

* Analyze passwords and generate reports using PowerShell scripts

**KEY EXPERIENCE**

* Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers 2012/2016/2019/2022

* Advanced knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) in an enterprise environment

* Experience with Active Directory provisioning and deprovisioning of users, computers, security groups

* Experience with and knowledge of Active Directory FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and Active Directory Sites and Services Design

* Advanced knowledge of Entra ID, ADFS, DNS, and PKI

* Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell

* Experience with enterprise multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions preferred

* Experience with Active Directory provisioning and deprovisioning

* Knowledge of Active Directory FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and AD Sites and Services Design

* Bachelor's degree (in a technical field is preferred)

**INTERVIEW PROCESS**

* Quick turnaround: preliminary one interview followed by team interview on phone and Google Meets.

* Typically, one round with the hiring manager, joined by the team (virtual interview), possibly two rounds if necessary.
