Specialty Software Engineer 4 - Contingent
Location: Las Colinas, Charlotte, Pheonix, SAN FRAN - (preference)

Must Haves:
3 to 5 years' experience in ServiceNow development, particularly Service Catalog module, using Yokohama version or higher.
3 to 5 years' experience in Agile/Scrum.
3 to 5 years' experience on Service Now - Business rules and Scripting and application development.
3 to 5 years' experience on ServiceNow - ATF scripting or other automated testing tools.
2 to 3 years' experience on Integration and API development (using REST, JSON, etc.)
Must have both SN CSA Certification and CAD Certification.
Experience on NowAssist Agentic AI (Conversational Catalog, etc.)
2 to 3 years' experience in ServiceNow ECPro or latest portal development.
Nice to have:
2 to 3 years' experience on ServiceNow ECPro or latest portal development
2 years' experience on Catalog Builder or equivalent citizen developer tools and process.
Proficiency on Report Analytics, Workspace, Survey, ITSM, CMDB and other SN modules is a plus.
Experience on APIGEE, ESGA, Ansible, Amelia or other orchestration and interface tools is preferred.
Daily Responsibilities:
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) to support sprint execution and continuous improvement.
Design and develop ServiceNow Service Catalog solutions, including catalog items, UI forms, workflows, and integrations.
Implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Perform unit testing and support end-to-end SDLC processes, including development, testing, and deployment.
Manage update sets for code packaging and promotion across environments for release.
Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams through developer calls and technical discussion
AI Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge in using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and NowAssist Agents)
Demonstrate proficiency in using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code-centric agents)
Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
Apply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI-assisted outputs into solutions
Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments
Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards.
Understand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations.
Pay Range: $85 - $95 on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
