About Marcurius Multi-Mission Solutions
Marcurius Multi-Mission Solutions is a fast-growing Defense technology company headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. Founded by US and UK veterans, Marcurius brings decades of frontline experience across Special Operations and Intelligence missions, with deep expertise in asymmetric warfare and the real-world employment of unmanned systems.
Marcurius is building a new kind of unmanned systems company- multi-domain, multi-platform, and mission-driven. We fuse battle-proven technologies, resilient command-and-control architectures, and operator-led doctrine to deliver capabilities that work in contested environments. Our initial focus is the rapid fielding of advanced Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) for modern maritime operations.

Role Overview

The Site & Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of Marcurius’ physical environment, including facility, workshop, yard, and waterfront areas. This role ensures the site never becomes a constraint on engineering, testing, or delivery, operating as a direct support function to engineering execution under the Chief Engineer.
This is a hands-on role, not an administrative one. The Site & Facilities Lead is expected to be physically present, actively managing the site, coordinating work, and stepping in where needed to keep operations moving. The role sits within the engineering delivery structure and supports execution without taking on engineering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the facility, workshop, yard, and waterfront areas
Ensure the site is always clean, organized, accessible, and ready for use
Manage site access (keys, doors, visitors, entry points) and opening/closing procedures
Coordinate and follow up on all maintenance to ensure infrastructure and equipment remain fully operational
Manage contractors, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely work
Maintain safe working conditions, including PPE management, contractor safety, and incident handling
Identify and escalate risks or unsafe conditions proactively
Oversee utilities (power, water, internet, backup systems) to ensure continuity
Ensure engineers and technicians have a functional and well-organized working environment
Support movement of equipment, vessels, and materials for testing and operations
Manage facility-related tools, consumables, and PPE, keeping clear separation from engineering inventory
Develop and maintain practical site-level procedures for safety, physical access control, contractor coordination, maintenance, workspace readiness, and facility support, working with the Chief Engineer and relevant team members as facility and operational requirements mature

Reporting Line

Reports to Chief Engineer
Embedded within engineering delivery, supporting execution across teams

Required Qualifications

Experience managing facilities, sites, or operations in industrial, technical, or marine environments
Strong track record of coordinating maintenance and contractors
Familiarity with health and safety standards and compliance
Highly proactive and hands-on
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on uptime and prevention
Organized and able to manage multiple vendors and tasks simultaneously
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-moving environments

Preferred Background

Experience in marine, shipyard, or waterfront environments
Technical understanding of basic infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, utilities)

Success in the Role

The facility operates without disruption to engineering or operations
Issues are anticipated and prevented rather than reacted to
The site is consistently safe, compliant, and well-maintained
Engineers and technicians are never blocked by facility-related constraints
