Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM field of study and 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in analysis of Fluid Dynamics or Aerodynamics
Familiarity with Aerodynamic Modeling and Simulation

Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging authority Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer with an active Secret clearance for a position in Grand Prairie, TX or Orlando, FL.
What You Will Be Doing
The GNC Engineer/Aerodynamicist will be an integral part of the combined Aerodynamic and GNC team performing simulation and modeling of missile 6DOF Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS).
This activity includes generation of aerodynamics models and support for the maturation of GNC algorithms.
Participation in system performance assessments, trade studies, and test data analyses related to optimal IFS Implementation of Guidance, Navigation, and Autopilot on-board algorithms may be required.
Travel may be required to support customer coordination and qualification test efforts.
The Senior GNC/Aerodynamics engineer is expected to mentor earlier career engineers and coordinate work between teams and external stakeholders.
This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX, or Orlando, FL, working a 4/10 Flex schedule.
This position requires a DoD Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or currently in continuous evaluation.
