### - We require a bachelors degree, or equivalent experience where four additional years of relevant background may substitute for a degree. - We look for 6+ years of software development experience with strong depth in one or more technical disciplines. - We require 4+ years delivering technology solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews. - We expect foundational knowledge of one or more languages or technologies such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python. - We value demonstrated ability to research technical issues and create practical, inventive solutions. - We require experience resolving production incidents through application and system troubleshooting. - We expect the ability to clearly explain technical challenges and proposed solutions. - We require strong understanding of secure coding practices and core system security principles. - We look for hands-on experience with cloud technologies and related tooling. - We prefer enterprise-level Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. - We prefer experience with Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs, plus integration work. - We prefer background building APIs with Spring Boot and container-based services using Docker. - We prefer familiarity with Salesforce DX, Gradle or Maven, Git-based version control, and GitLab CI/CD. - We prefer experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks. - We prefer strong knowledge of OpenShift, Salesforce CRM, CDP, Financial Services Cloud, and cloud platform infrastructure. - We prefer experience designing for security, scalability, and performance. - We prefer exposure to Control-M, batch processing, data pipelines, data integration, and Snowflake. - We prefer solution design experience and experience with automated data processing. - We value candidates with US military experience through service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.

Responsibilities:

- We design, build, code, and test complex tactical and strategic solutions across multiple technologies, including emerging platforms. - We integrate existing systems and tools while partnering with engineers and architects across our team and, at times, beyond our domain. - We lead code and design reviews and keep stakeholders informed to support smooth operations and accurate planning. - We develop sophisticated algorithms to address business requirements. - We investigate and resolve complex application and system issues, including production incidents, by leading end-to-end troubleshooting. - We mentor and coach engineers on design, development, and system maintenance, and we review teammates code. - We help shape our domain architecture and quality standards while identifying and measuring solution-level impacts. - We identify performance concerns and technical debt, then optimize our solutions accordingly. - We ensure risks tied to business activities are identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance standards. - We participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, documentation, implementation, and outage response. - We lead solutioning and development for a new line of business supporting members financial needs. - We contribute to the technical direction of our new investment services offering. - We deliver technology solutions that support our enterprise and provide best-in-class user experiences.
