Software Engineer

Job Description

An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence sector is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle for critical mission-support programs.

What You'll Be Doing

Automate existing Computing Environment (CE) install and maintenance processes.
Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software development.
Execute and document software research and development projects.
Translate customer requirements into initial designs of software products and functionalities.
Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products for systems integrations.

What We're Looking For

At least 5 years of experience with Ansible and Linux operating systems.
Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar.
Strong background in Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and hold an active Secret Clearance.
