DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence space is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. This role focuses on supporting mission-critical software engineering organisations by establishing and maintaining complex development environments across various security levels.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the development and management of the software development environment roadmap and vision.
Deploying and configuring technologies including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Managing and maintaining both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures to support software releases.
Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to simplify administration and deployment.
Mentoring junior teammates and providing technical leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and DevSecOps best practices.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
At least 7 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automated provisioning and designing for continuous deployment.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Legally authorized to work in the United States and capable of working across multiple security networks.
