### Must have:

### - We welcome entry-level candidates, including recent graduates. - We are looking for a degree or diploma in Game Development, Computer Graphics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on project experience. - We need strong Unreal Engine expertise, including Blueprints and C++, supported by shipped work or a portfolio. - We value familiarity with core rendering principles such as frame timing, post-processing, depth/stencil, and render targets. - We require basic programming ability in C++ and/or Python for scripting and tooling. - We need experience working with 3D asset workflows, including FBX files, LODs, materials, and texture optimization. - We expect clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with robotics and controls engineers. - We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a drug screening and background check. - Nice to have: experience building virtual sensors such as simulated cameras or lidar through plugins. - Nice to have: experience synchronizing render loops with external simulators or middleware such as ROS, ROS2 bridges, or socket-based APIs. - Nice to have: background in UX/UI design for control systems or visualization tools.

Responsibilities:

- We will build and maintain Unreal Engine environments for unmanned surface vehicle simulations, including sea surfaces, vessels, sensors, coastlines, weather, and sea-state effects. - We will develop camera and sensor rendering pipelines for RGB, depth, semantic and instance segmentation, and post-processing to match perception and state-estimation needs. - We will tune rendering performance and scene complexity to achieve deterministic frame timing and keep simulation loops synchronized. - We will design UX mockups and prototype the primary operator interface, then implement interactive scenario controls, playback features, and visualization tools to assess autonomy behavior. - We will collaborate with physics and integration engineers to align render timing, coordinate systems, and transform standards. - We will create reusable assets, Blueprints, and supporting documentation for simulation teams. - We may also support integration of virtual sensors and connectivity with external simulators or middleware where needed.
