Technical Account Manager, Nefab Americas

Our Sales & Marketing organization is vital for us to deliver value-driven, sustainable packaging solutions to our customers. We are now looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team in Chicago.

As Technical Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for packaging engineers within a Key Account. You will be responsible for developing strong customer satisfaction by understanding customer needs and working with Nefab’s global network to convert those needs into smarter packaging solutions that reduce total cost and CO2 impact. Through this role, you will strengthen the customer’s perception of Nefab as a global leader in complete transport packaging solutions.

You will contribute to Nefab by ensuring technical excellence, customer alignment, and value creation across the customer’s supply chain, supporting both commercial success and sustainability goals.

You will be part of the Sales & Marketing organization, working closely with Engineering Centers, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders globally. In this role, you will coordinate and manage technical projects, lead customer-facing workshops, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and Nefab’s technical and supply-chain offerings, while working in line with Nefab’s Sales processes and Engineering Directive.

This position is located in Chicago, and you will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Your Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent documented work experience within packaging design

Experience

More than 5 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer or within Technical Sales
More than 5 years of experience as an industrial CAD designer
At least 3 years of experience in corrugated packaging design

Skills And Competencies

Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint in particular)
Advanced CAD experience (e.g., IronCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX/Unigraphics)
Experience working with PDM systems
Strong communication and networking skills
Sales-oriented mindset with experience working directly with customers
Ability to match customer demands with Nefab offerings and competitive supply-chain setups
Experience with sustainability topics such as LCA (life cycle analysis), CO2 reporting, and environmental materials

Languages

English – Professional
Additional languages are considered a plus
