### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance. - We seek at least 5 years of DevOps experience. - We prefer strong hands-on experience in Windows-based environments. - We value familiarity with Linux-based systems. - We require experience working in both cloud-hosted and network-restricted environments. - We require experience building Azure-based automation pipelines. - We look for practical knowledge of configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, SCCM, WSUS, or Phire. - We need strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely. - We value attention to detail and the ability to work independently with broad direction. - We expect professional collaboration with peers in a team-based environment. - We prefer candidates who can commute to Falls Church, VA and work onsite. - We require the ability to meet the physical demands of an office setting, including computer use for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

- We design and implement CI/CD pipelines that align with business and mission needs using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible. - We build and update Azure DevOps Server workflows using YAML pipelines. - We partner with developers and technical stakeholders to solve new and complex requirements. - We create, maintain, and refine Desired State Configuration templates. - We operate and improve infrastructure-as-code pipelines. - We identify opportunities to automate manual processes and replace repetitive tasks. - We apply periodic environment updates to address evolving cybersecurity requirements. - We provide DevOps leadership and engineering support through scripts and automation for on-premises and cloud environments. - We drive process improvements by streamlining workflows and aligning with DevOps and DevSecOps best practices. - We maintain stable, secure, and reliable application environments across cloud and on-premises systems. - We collaborate regularly with team members and stakeholders in a professional setting. - We use tools and scripts to simplify common operational tasks and improve delivery efficiency.
