Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience developing FPGA Programmable Logic
Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog
Experience on Hardware-Software Integration and Validation
Familiarity with FPGA toolsets (Vivado, Libero, and/or Quartus strongly preferred)
Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting activities
Experience with C/C++ programming
Experience Integrating HW and SW
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Job Description
Seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to support RF Sensor Stimulation Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) capabilities. FPGA Engineer to oversee the design, development and implementation of Radio Frequency (RF) signal modulation capabilities in FPGAs. Tasks for this position will include the definition of FPGA architecture, development of VHDL firmware and development of interfaces to ancillary HWIL HW. Also responsible for the integration, test, verification and validation of multiple subsystems.
Desired Skills
Master's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with management of Configuration Control
Experience with Vivado FPGA toolset
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging skills with board-level testing and FPGA validation
Experience in ASIC / FPGA life cycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test)
Expert programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) or Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD)
Comfortable using digital oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment
Experience working with HWIL systems
