Title: Tridium Software Engineer/Systems Integrator
Duration: Full-time

Summary:
Senior-level, hands-on engineer responsible for developing and integrating building automation and facility monitoring systems, with a strong emphasis on the Tridium Niagara framework. This role supports critical environments such as data centers and requires a deep understanding of controls systems, software integration, and commissioning. The position combines development, field integration, and system deployment, with a high level of autonomy and technical ownership.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automation and monitoring solutions using the Tridium Niagara 4 platform
Develop and configure Niagara stations and implement system logic within the framework
Integrate building systems and devices using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP
Lead system startup, commissioning, and validation efforts
Create and enhance system user interfaces for monitoring and control
Establish and configure communications between systems, devices, and customer networks
Interpret technical documentation such as electrical schematics, HVAC diagrams, and network drawings
Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful system integration
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across software and hardware interfaces
Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers using monitoring systems
Coordinate installation requirements and ensure alignment with project deliverables
Skills:
Strong expertise in Tridium Niagara 4 framework and platform development
Experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and controls environments
Familiarity with Tridium-based solutions and integrations (e.g., Distech-type platforms)
Experience with Eclipse Designer and EC-Net preferred
Knowledge of communication protocols including BACnet/IP, BACnet MSTP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and SNMP
Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and technical schematics
Experience with system commissioning, startup, and integration
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Willingness and ability to travel as needed (valid passport required)
