Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Support Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, end-user systems, networking environment, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows/Linux administration, Microsoft 365 ecosystem management, endpoint management, wireless networking, and IT operations monitoring.
This role is responsible for ensuring high availability of IT services, secure device management, uninterrupted internet connectivity, audit readiness, and smooth procurement and deployment of IT assets across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & End-User Support
Manage and support Windows and Linux operating systems across desktops, laptops, and servers.
Provide L2/L3 technical support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
Handle user onboarding/offboarding, access management, and endpoint provisioning.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations.
Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Management
Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and MDM solutions.
Implement and maintain zero-touch provisioning and automated device enrollment.
Enforce endpoint security policies, compliance configurations, and patch management.
Network & Wireless Infrastructure Management
Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot connectivity, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP, and routing issues.
Ensure optimal wireless coverage, performance, and security across office locations.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to maintain stable internet connectivity and uptime.
Monitoring & IT Operations
Monitor all organizational devices, servers, network components, and IT services proactively.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health and performance.
Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management for IT equipment.
Ensure business continuity through backups, preventive maintenance, and operational readiness.
Compliance & Security
Support and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance requirements.
Participate in internal and external IT audits and ensure documentation readiness.
Implement IT security best practices, access controls, endpoint protection, and policy enforcement.
Maintain audit logs, SOPs, asset records, and compliance documentation.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Facilitate procurement of laptops, desktops, networking equipment, licenses, and accessories.
Coordinate with vendors for quotations, renewals, warranties, and service agreements.
Evaluate hardware/software requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
Expertise in Microsoft Intune, MDM, and zero-touch device provisioning.
Experience managing enterprise wireless networks and network infrastructure.
Understanding of firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
Experience with IT monitoring tools and endpoint management platforms.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, CCNA, MCSE, HCSA, RHCE, RHSCA, or any relevant certification.
