JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The structural design engineer plays a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, sustainability, and excellence from concept through completion.

This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and practical application. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers, transforming preliminary concepts into robust, viable structures. Proficiency in design software, a strong understanding of material science, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards are essential. You will work directly on analyzing and designing structural frameworks for a variety of projects, ensuring our structures are safe, durable, and compliant with all regulations.

Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
•   Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and calculations, and structural drawings for construction projects.
•   Drafting & Modeling: Create detailed design plans, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
•   Code Compliance: Ensure all structural designs adhere to local, state, and federal building codes.
•   Collaboration: Partner with architects, contractors, and project managers for seamless project integration.
•   Construction Administration: Review shop drawings and provide technical guidance during the construction phase.
•   Keep up to date with advancements in structural design and engineering technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
•   Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
•   Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of Experience in structural design and analysis
•   Software: Proficiency in structural analysis and modeling software, such as AutoCad and Revit
•   Licensure: Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification or Professional Engineer (PE)
•   Other: Familiarity with international building codes and standards, Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
