### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree, or an equivalent foreign credential, in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Finite Element Analysis, Occupant Safety Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - We require 10 years of experience in the offered position or in a similar CAE/FEA engineering role. - We require 10 years of hands-on experience with LS-DYNA, ANSA, and META Post CAE software. - We require 5 years of experience in occupant safety and automotive crashworthiness CAE simulations. - We require 5 years of experience developing and executing CAE models for child safety seats or vehicle interior systems. - We prefer strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a product development environment.

Responsibilities:

- We develop child safety seats, strollers, and related products by enhancing designs to improve performance, quality, and cost through finite element analysis. - We run multiple FEA simulations simultaneously throughout the full product development lifecycle. - We perform a broad range of simulations, including static, non-linear, fatigue, highly dynamic, crash, and occupant kinematics analyses. - We strengthen the correlation between virtual results and physical sled test outcomes. - We organize and analyze technical data to support engineering decisions. - We ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule. - We contribute to material evaluation, validation, and selection in collaboration with internal teams. - We prepare detailed technical reports and supporting documentation. - We partner with design engineers and project teams and participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions.

We are Iron Mountains, LLC and we have an opening for a Senior CAE Engineer in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. In this position, we work on the development and optimization of child safety seats, strollers, and other products, partnering closely with internal engineering teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
