### Must have:
### - We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical discipline. - We require at least 1 year of engineering-related experience. - We are looking for enthusiasm to build expertise in radars and/or the physics-based effects that influence radar or communications systems. - We require familiarity with Matlab, Python, or similar mathematical analysis software. - We require strong interpersonal abilities and clear communication skills. - We require willingness to travel up to 5% of the time, if needed. - We require the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance by the start date and ultimately qualify for Top Secret/SCI access. - We require U.S. citizenship to meet clearance eligibility requirements. - Preferred: We value a masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. - Preferred: We value 3+ years of professional experience in radar, aerospace, RF, hypersonics, or another systems engineering area. - Preferred: We value advanced proficiency with Matlab, Python, or comparable analytical tools. - Preferred: We value leadership experience or a strong interest in taking on leadership responsibilities. - Preferred: We value experience with advanced DoD radars and combat systems. - Preferred: We value an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities:

- We apply technical creativity to identify issues and develop effective solutions. - We use signal and data processing methods, including machine learning and optimization, to analyze large datasets. - We perform in-depth investigations to determine root causes of performance trends and inform design decisions. - We work closely with radar system engineers, analysts, scientists, and software developers as part of an integrated team. - We collaborate with combat system and missile engineers on systems engineering efforts. - We present our findings internally and to sponsors and prime contractors to help shape program direction. - We expand our radar expertise with guidance from subject matter experts. - We support fielding the next generation of Advanced Surface Navy radars and improving the capabilities of existing Surface Navy radar systems. - We identify mission-impacting problems and propose innovative algorithms and technical solutions. - We conduct detailed performance analysis using high-fidelity, physics-based simulations. - We contribute to broader systems integration activities involving radar, combat system, and missile simulations.
