Municipal Engineer

Job Description

Growing national firm is seeking a Municipal Engineer for their Chicago office!

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical guidance/leadership on municipal drinking water projects
* Create detailed master plans, designs, plans/specifications and estimates
* Projects include treatment plans, tanks, pump/booster stations, and water storage/conveyance system infrastructure
* Project management
* Assist with business development
* Assist with proposal completion and client interviews
* Deliver quality work on time and within budget
* Keep current on regulatory issues in industry and update team
* Lead/mentor junior staff

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
* 7+ years of experience in municipal water treatment systems
* PE registration
* Experience with water treatment, water quality, and regulatory compliance
* Active participation in professional organizations

Salary is commensurate with experience.
