### Must have:

### - We require 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related field, or 0 years of experience with a masters degree in a related field, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience. - We require strong proficiency in C++. - We require successful completion of a technical C++ coding assessment. - We require a solid understanding of compiling, linking, and debugging C++ applications. - We require experience with constructive, agent-based, and event-driven modeling and simulation. - We require foundational knowledge of space concepts, including coordinate systems, time, and orbital propagation. - We require excellent problem-solving ability, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to perform well in a fast-paced agile environment. - We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. - We prefer Python proficiency, including experience with embedded Python applications. - We prefer knowledge of space domain awareness and space combat power. - We prefer a background in mathematics or physics. - We prefer experience developing parallel software. - We prefer experience within the U.S. or Allied space enterprise. - We prefer an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

- We collaborate with our team using Confluence, Discourse, GitLab, and Jira. - We review code and uphold high engineering standards. - We work with government leadership to keep the program aligned with mission goals. - We meet with customers to gather requirements and incorporate their feedback. - We provide regular status updates to leadership and customers. - We conduct multidisciplinary research to support modeling and development objectives. - We contribute to team direction, vision, and simulation architecture discussions. - We design, develop, document, test, and debug space simulation software. - We support projects under the Space Protection and Response Solution (SPRS) program.
