### Must have:

### - We are seeking active-duty military personnel in their final 180 days of service who are eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program. - We require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related field, or 3 years of relevant experience with a masters degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience. - We value experience aligned with the program of instruction, with additional background considered depending on the training pathway. - We are looking for candidates with a military background that translates well into data engineering and enterprise analytics work. - Physical requirements vary based on the program of instruction.

Responsibilities:

- We will train the intern as a Data Engineer under the guidance of a designated supervisor. - We expect the intern to learn our enterprise approach to designing, building, and optimizing Big Data Platform systems for large-scale data collection, storage, access, and analytics. - We will assign special projects as needed to support learning and business needs. - We want the intern to build a practical understanding of core data engineering concepts, including data acquisition, ETL processes, programming tools, and data pipeline optimization. - We will guide the intern in improving data reliability, efficiency, and quality. - We will help the intern prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling. - We will support the intern in identifying opportunities to automate tasks through data analysis. - We will provide training in parser development, workflow modification, testing, troubleshooting, and log review. - We expect the intern to participate in core-hour meetings and training sessions. - We will have the intern work through phased learning that includes BDP technologies, analytics applications, and parser deployment.

This is an unpaid SkillBridge internship for transitioning active-duty U.S. military personnel, designed to deliver real-world experience during the final 180 days of service and to build a pathway toward potential full-time employment. We use a hybrid work model that combines in-person collaboration with the flexibility to work from home when needed. If selected and approved, we will fund travel costs associated with the internship.
