Responsibilities:

- We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery. - We manage cloud infrastructure and containerized environments. - We implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. - We automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency. - We help ensure smooth, dependable deployments. - We work with DevOps, DevSecOps, Agile, and security-focused practices. - We use Azure and Azure PaaS services in our daily work. - We operate within Waterfall, Agile, and primarily DevOps delivery models. - We define technical objectives and develop solution approaches with appropriate flexibility. - We manage software code projects and coordinate related execution. - We support automation through testing or orchestration tools and workflows. - We work with Terraform, Git, GitLab, and similar platforms. - We incorporate security checks into CI/CD pipelines. - We use virtualization and container technologies such as Docker and AKS/Kubernetes. - We interact with REST APIs and contribute through scripting and systems administration tasks. - We apply scripting languages to support DevOps workflows. - We understand core networking components, including firewalls and load balancers or reverse proxies such as F5 LTM/GTM and Azure-native services. - We provide performance tuning, maintenance, and production support when needed. - We translate high-level system needs into technical designs, job flows, and program specifications. - We align technical solutions with customer business goals and system requirements. - We assist customers in resolving issues and meeting expectations. - We stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements when appropriate. - We follow enterprise security policies and standards in all operational work.

For this role, we are hiring a DevOps Engineer for an onsite assignment in Sylmar, California for six months, with possible extension or conversion to full-time employment for the right candidate, though not guaranteed. We prefer local candidates, but relocation at the candidates expense is acceptable if completed within two weeks without interrupting onboarding. This position is open only to W2 candidates.
