### Must have:

### - We have proven experience as a DataOps Engineer, Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a comparable role. - We bring a strong background in data quality engineering, data governance, and analytics enablement. - We have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar workflow management tools. - We are familiar with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or equivalent tools. - We have experience working with cloud data platforms, including Azure, AWS, or comparable environments. - We are comfortable operating in Agile or iterative delivery settings. - We have excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration abilities. - We can work independently and effectively in a remote environment. - Preferred: We hold certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, Databricks Data Engineer, or data governance/data management credentials. - Preferred: We have experience in healthcare, public sector, or other highly regulated data environments. - Preferred: We understand change management and operational enablement practices.

Responsibilities:

- We develop and maintain data quality rules, validation frameworks, and monitoring routines. - We implement statistical process control and anomaly detection methods to improve data reliability. - We support incident logging, triage, root cause analysis, and ongoing improvement activities. - We define and maintain metadata standards, data glossary content, and end-to-end data lineage. - We establish governance procedures, standard operating procedures, and disclosure or suppression rules. - We translate downstream analytics and governance needs into clear upstream data specifications. - We design and support governed semantic data models. - We help develop and validate standardized dashboards and reports. - We ensure data accuracy, dependable refresh cycles, and adherence to governance requirements. - We work within platforms such as Azure DevOps, cloud-based data lakes, and BI tools. - We maintain operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics. - We support Agile workflows, documentation repositories, and collaboration tools. - We partner with internal teams through hands-on co-development sessions. - We create and maintain wikis, runbooks, and playbooks to support long-term ownership. - We deliver role-based training and support organizational readiness efforts.
