### Must have:

### - We require a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related discipline, 7 years with a masters degree, 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate, or 13 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent. - We need a strong working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework process, including NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and related cybersecurity guidance. - We look for hands-on experience developing and validating Cross Domain and boundary protection controls. - We require familiarity with cybersecurity governance frameworks, system accreditation procedures, and federal security policy. - We value the ability to develop practical technical solutions to complex cybersecurity compliance challenges. - We expect strong analytical ability and clear communication skills, including the capacity to translate technical security concepts into operational guidance. - We require knowledge of security assessment methods, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring practices. - We require an active SECRET security clearance. - We need the ability to work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD, and to operate in office, industrial, or laboratory settings as needed. - We may require physical capability to climb ladders, work in confined areas, and tolerate extreme temperature changes.

Responsibilities:

- We lead systems through the full RMF lifecycle, including categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and ongoing monitoring. - We design, document, and validate Cross Domain security controls to support secure data transfer and proper system separation. - We develop and maintain key RMF and cybersecurity artifacts such as the System Security Plan, Plan of Action and Milestones, and Security Assessment Report. - We prepare systems and supporting materials for ATO packages, assessments, and audits so they are ready for Authorizing Official review. - We coordinate closely with security assessors, ISSOs, system owners, and engineering teams to ensure controls are implemented correctly and properly evidenced. - We identify cybersecurity risks and recommend mitigation and remediation actions. - We support continuous monitoring activities, including vulnerability reviews, configuration audits, and security control updates. - We stay informed on evolving federal cybersecurity policies, frameworks, tools, and emerging threats. - We communicate security requirements to non-technical stakeholders and help guide decision-making across functional teams.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt senior-level opportunity with an estimated salary range of $128,887 to $175,000, 0--10% travel, and onsite work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
