### Must have:
### - We require 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related field, or no experience with a masters degree in a related field, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience. - We require Linux and/or Microsoft professional certification. - We require Security+ certification. - We require U.S. citizenship. - We require the ability to currently hold and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance. - We require familiarity with networking fundamentals, architectures, and protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP. - We require knowledge of distributed simulation standards such as High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS). - We require military experience. - We require experience supporting operational-level Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) Fleet Synthetic Training events. - We require technical leadership capability to recognize engineering issues and coordinate with the appropriate subject matter experts. - We require strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization. - We prefer PMP and Cisco certifications. - We prefer understanding of operational- and tactical-level warfare events, including live, virtual, and constructive training. - We prefer experience with Navy Fleet Synthetic Training programs, experimentation, and war-game operations management. - We prefer familiarity with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), including its timeline and deliverables. - We prefer understanding of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems and operations. - We prefer experience with Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) simulation and other HLA/DIS modeling tools. - We prefer experience using MS Visio to create technical architecture diagrams. - We require the ability to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard setting. - We require the ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, tolerate temperature extremes, and lift or move materials as needed.
Responsibilities:

- We serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for NSWC-Corona in support of Fleet Synthetic Training Operational-level events. - We coordinate with leadership to address technical issues and emerging requirements. - We resolve and de-conflict resource constraints during planning, test, and execution activities. - We work with local and remote Navy Continuous Training Environment operators, engineers, MOC training teams, and augmentation personnel to plan systems and personnel support. - We adjust working hours as needed to align with global time zones for ongoing events. - We travel occasionally to support event-planning conferences. - We lead the technical team in accordance with Navy Continuous Training Environment standard operating procedures. - We recommend updates to existing SOPs and help develop new procedures as fleet training needs expand. - We support testing and execution of Fleet Synthetic Training Operational-level events in line with approved manning plans. - We maintain and strengthen modeling and simulation capabilities based on current U.S. and foreign military capabilities, trends, tactics, and U.S. Navy doctrine. - We use Confluence and JIRA to distribute schedules and event documentation. - We identify, document, report, and track issues while keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and status.
