### - We require active Secret clearance or higher. - We require U.S. citizenship for this program. - We need hands-on experience running Landing Zone Accelerator deployments in AWS GovCloud, including maintaining the configuration YAML and operating the LZA engine. - We need practical experience with AWS Organizations OU structures, Identity Center permission set administration, and account vending through Service Catalog. - We require comfort building and maintaining custom CloudFormation stacks. - We need container image management experience. - We require the ability to work a hybrid schedule in the Arlington, VA / Washington, DC area. - We prefer experience supporting an AWS ProServe or similar managed landing zone engagement. - We prefer fluency with infrastructure as code beyond CloudFormation, such as Terraform.

Responsibilities:

- We run Landing Zone Accelerator deployments at IL5 in AWS GovCloud. - We maintain LZA configuration YAML files and manage the LZA engine through deployment cycles. - We oversee container image upgrades and keep platform components current. - We diagnose and resolve deployment issues, identify root causes, and restore the pipeline to a healthy state. - We onboard new workload accounts by vending accounts through Service Catalog and placing them in the appropriate AWS Organizations OU. - We manage Identity Center permission sets to keep access organized and aligned with least-privilege principles. - We build and sustain custom CloudFormation stacks on top of the LZA foundation. - We support Mission Owner developer teams as they build and operate on the platform.

We are hiring a full-time Cloud Engineer in a hybrid role based in Arlington, VA / Washington, DC. This position supports an AWS GovCloud platform operating at IL5 and serves as the hands-on owner of the Landing Zone Accelerator environment. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys keeping infrastructure stable, solving deployment problems quickly, and ensuring new workload accounts are brought online smoothly. We offer a pay range of $70.00 to $90.00 per hour and are seeking a candidate who can thrive in a fast-moving environment where platform reliability is critical.
