### - We require 15 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related field, 13 years with a masters degree, 10 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 19 years of relevant experience. - We require AWS Certified DevOps Engineer -- Professional certification. - We require eligibility for Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance. - We require U.S. citizenship. - We prefer familiarity with Advana architecture, Palantir Foundry, or comparable data integration platforms. - We prefer experience with data governance frameworks and metadata administration. - We prefer Agile or SAFe delivery experience in secure environments. - We may require the ability to work in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory settings. - We may require the physical capability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and tolerate extreme temperature changes.

Responsibilities:

- We develop enterprise infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code practices to support Department of Defense mission systems, cross-domain cloud environments, and production platforms. - We design and deploy automated cloud architectures with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to support system administration, release operations, cybersecurity controls, and continuous integration pipelines. - We build secure configuration baselines aligned with approved system operations plans, asset management standards, and cyber incident response procedures. - We create and maintain automation for patching workflows, backup and recovery readiness, and release progression from development into production. - We work closely with operations teams, cybersecurity staff, and developers to align automation with mission priorities, continuity of operations needs, and compliance requirements. - We lead the development of enterprise templates, code repositories, and automated security enforcement using version control tools such as Git and GitHub. - We produce architectural diagrams, automation documentation, rollback plans, and deployment artifacts to support traceability, audit preparedness, and government review. - We provide technical guidance, mentor junior staff, assess system performance metrics, and drive ongoing improvements in automated cloud operations. - We integrate automation into incident response and system monitoring workflows to help resolve degradations, configuration drift, and mission-impacting anomalies quickly. - We deliver advanced automation capabilities that improve deployment predictability, reduce operational risk, and strengthen the operation of Department of Defense cloud infrastructures.
